I spent a bit of time over the weekend trying to work out how to import all my old blog posts (pre-New Zealand) into the website. Sadly it didn't all work out, as the version of mysql i have on my laptop doesn't match up with that of the my hosting provider. So now I have to work out a different way of dealing with the import. A little disappointing all in all ...

but the rest of the weekend was a load of fun, Claire's friend Lyndsay was down for the weekend, so we headed out to Covent Garden for a bit of a mooch. In the evening, I met up with Andy, and we successfully consumed a couple of nice bottles of wine catching up. Sunday was nicely chilled, and then Claire and I got thoroughly engrossed in Buffy, not heading to bed until the ludicrous time of 4AM. This did not help with our plans for the next day - in particular the idea of going running really did not appeal in the morning! ;-) But we managed to get over to Jon and David's for a farewell bash to celebrate their emigration to San Francisco. It was great to catch up with them, and drink a load of their wine ;-) The evening was then taken up with a follow up session of Angel, trying to catch up on the parallel storylines of Buffy. Loads of fun, and fortunately we didn't get quite so carried away this time. So this morning we got out into the park for a run - my first since my concerns about my metatarsal came up after my run on Monday last week. I did just over the 5k, and my foot feels fine right now ... hopefully this will last in the next couple of days, and I can get myself ready for the run next Sunday.
